English requirements

All higher education programs in Denmark require a high standard of English.

Candidates applying to undergraduate and graduate programs taught in English must at least prove their English proficiency at 'B' level, according to the standards of Danish high schools (gymnasium).

TOEFL, IELTS and Cambridge ESOL exams (CAE) are the most commonly taken exams to prove an adequate proficiency in English.

The deadlines for university applications vary depending on the universities, but generally, the deadlines are March 15th and July 5th.

Applicants who wish to start their studies in September should complete their applications by March 15th.
